De B.V.I liggen ingeklemd tussen Puerto Rico, Guadeloupe en de Amerikaanse Virgin Islands. De hele eilandengroep bestaat uit zo'n vijftig eilandjes, waarbij er bij een stuk of tien geheel onder water komen te liggen als het vloed is. De vier belangrijkste eilanden zijn Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Anegada en Jost Van Dyke, die beter bekend staan als 'Nature's Little Secrets'.
